My first pilates class - Berkhamsted pilates

As Marketing Manager at the studio I'm often busy running around with little time to try different classes, but I've recently been giving Carly's pilates classes a go.

If you haven't tried pilates I'd highly recommend her class. As a total newbie she makes you feel very comfortable and is great at accommodating your individual needs.

What I love about it is that it can be quite subtle, but I definitely feel that my muscles have worked later on in the day and even the day after. If you hear people saying 'find your core' - Carly's great at describing what it feels like to activate your core and really helps you to connect into it. You don't have to have good balance, you don't have to be bendy and you don't even need to know where your core is. She'll help you along the way.
